Course Summary

The CMA Foundation paper is the entry-level paper for the CMA course. In addition to learning about core management, strategy, and accounting, it also brings focus on the regulatory aspects. The examination is pen and paper-based which tests the conceptual clarity on each subject.

The CMA Foundation Level consists of 4 Papers;

  • Paper 1 - Fundamentals of Economics and Management
  • Paper 2 - Fundamentals of Accounting
  • Paper 3 - Fundamentals of Laws and Ethics

CMA IND Intermediate

Course Summary

CMA India Intermediate is the second examination level for students pursuing the CMA certification. The examinations are conducted twice a year (June & December). The Intermediate level has two groups. Whether the student appears for a single group or both groups, there will be paper-wise marks for each exam group. For a single group exam, each paper will be 100 marks. The students should have a minimum of 40 marks for each paper and an aggregate of 50%;

Course duration of CMA IND

CMA India Foundation level is a 7 months course. To appear for CMA intermediate course (both group) you require 6-7 months of coaching. Then to appear for CMA Final course (both group) 9 months of coaching and training is required. Practical training of a minimum of 18 months is necessary to appear for Final which is included in the 9 months. The qualification has covered all the topics in detail that will broaden the students' skills and they can use these skills to showcase their quality as a professional.

  • Any student who has completed their +2 exams is eligible to attend the CMA foundation exams. Graduates will get direct entry into the CMA inter exams and are exempted from writing the CMA foundation exams.
    Exams are held in the months of June and December tentatively. Students should apply for the exams before 31st January for the June exams and July 31st for the December examinations.
    The fees for CMA foundation course is ₹44,300 , the fees for CMA Inter exams are ₹73,800.
