The CMA course is divided into three levels - CMA Foundation, CMA Intermediate and CMA final.
Students also have the provision to do their CMA programme along with B.Com. The B.Com degree will be awarded by a UGC affiliated University.
The CMA Foundation paper is the entry-level paper for the CMA course. In addition to learning about core management, strategy, and accounting, it also brings focus on the regulatory aspects. The examination is pen and paper-based which tests the conceptual clarity on each subject.

CMA India Intermediate is the second examination level for students pursuing the CMA certification. The examinations are conducted twice a year (June & December). The Intermediate level has two groups. Whether the student appears for a single group or both groups, there will be paper-wise marks for each exam group. For a single group exam, each paper will be 100 marks. The students should have a minimum of 40 marks for each paper and an aggregate of 50%;

CMA India Foundation level is a 7 months course. To appear for CMA intermediate course (both group) you require 6-7 months of coaching. Then to appear for CMA Final course (both group) 9 months of coaching and training is required. Practical training of a minimum of 18 months is necessary to appear for Final which is included in the 9 months.
